Many young girls look up to Miley Cyrus and her other personality Hannah Montana, so it's no surprise that Cyrus' clothing line and jewelry apparel sold very well at Wal-Mart stores. Parents now have to take the jewelry away from their children due to high levels of cadmium.

Cadmium is a carcinogen that if ingested, turns poisonous. Parents don't have to worry about their children getting poisoned from wearing the jewelry, but if a younger child would happen to put it in their mouth and suck on it, it could turn deadly.

According to the Washington Post, Wal-Mart knew that the jewelry contained cadmium, but did not remove the jewelry line from their shelves.

Wal-Mart stores claim that they removed the pieces that failed the test, or the poisonous ones. Wal-Mart could be facing a class-action suit if any child ingested this poisonous material.
